A good idea deserves to be made.

A1DIY is a place for plans and the people who make things. Wood, steel, clay, leather, a length of cord—there’s always something new to try.

Our aim is simple: make free projects easy to find, and give independent creators a home for their original plans.

Start with what you have.

Explore by craft and skill level. Check the materials and tools before you begin. Save the projects you love, and come back when you’re ready.
