Before you begin.

This starter brief is an introduction to the project, not a tested construction plan. Check your dimensions and materials before you make.

The idea, step by step.

  1. Measure your nursery tray and allow clearance on every side. Sketch the outside dimensions before cutting.
  2. Cut a base, two long sides, and two end pieces to fit your measured tray. Dry-fit and check for square.
  3. Predrill the joints and fasten the sides around the base. Sand the edges smooth.
  4. Set the tray inside and place your herbs in their individual pots. Remove the pots for watering.
